Tally 9 Error : Exiting Tally ! Error in TDL. Part:Basic Company, Insufficient


Installed Tally 9 in my laptop. The operating system is Windows 7. Now when I try ti create a Company, it gives error massage “Exiting Tally! Error in TDL. Part: Basic Company, Insufficient

Solutions

On any pc if you get error "insufficient height to allocate".. Then just set the dpi of your pc/laptop to 100%, (you can adjust dpi from display settings) and try to use tally, this might solve ur problem.
if the above doesn't solve ur problem, then go to screen resolution setting and select 800 x 600 resolution. This might solve ur problem to most extent.
If still u are facing the problem then go to display setting of windows and reduce the font size of menu, message box, active title bar, non-active title bar and etc... Reduce fonts of all.

    Hello Sir,
    I had print out of Ledger account in TALLY 9 in WINDOWS 7, 64-bit....
    Here is the very serious problem, that is in date coloumn it is taking just 8 characters...that is 5-4-2011(8 chars) or 9-9-2011...if the characters are above 8, it is printing like a black rectangle covering the required date....such as 16-7-2011(9 chars) or 5-10-2011(9 chars)...
    and also in Vch. No. column (narration) it is showing upto 8 chars i think....
    and if it is above 8chars, it is not showing, it is just covering that with thick black rectangle...

    If u help on this, it will be very worthy...
    my family is depending only on me...i have to work out in tally 9 for accounts as an accountant...

      Dear Chetan,

      The user can resize the Tally 9 screen/window. The resize parameters such as height and width are defined in the Tally.ini file. The user can compare identical reports of different companies by changing the screen size for the two instances of Tally 9.

      Dear,

      you are getting ur voucher in single entry mode so when u entered in to a payment/receipt/contra press F12 and say NO to the following option

      "Use Single Entry mode for Payment/Rcpt/Contra" :- No

      your data is corrupt, Repair data .

      1) tally close 2)tally open 3) Ctrl + Alt + R button press 3) select your error company 4) repair company option in Yes button press .

    Hi Jayesh,

    Appreciated your help on a TDL issue I am facing.

    I have a TDL to import sales vouchers from excel file, which works perfectly in the Tally ERP 9 server. I tried to configure same TDL in 2 client PCs where same version of Tally is installed. TDLs are loaded, I see the message in the configuration box, but the sales voucher import option is not displayed.

    Highly appreciated if you could share your thoughts on this.
